A2 Film- Prep task - Monday 6th Sept.

Look closely at the requirements for your Small-Scale Research project.

On a single sheet of paper, type 4 ideas that you think would make interesting projects. These do NOT have to
be projects that you wish to do yourself. The idea is for us all to consider everyone's ideas and help each other to decide
on which project is best for us. Don't just focus on director studies. Think about genre studies, or use of music, or even political studies. This is an incredibly open piece of coursework. The big challenge is to scale it down to something that can be covered
properly in only 1700 words.

In your examples, don't just say "Tim Burton", think about Burton's films and why you find them interesting. Maybe
"the ways in which Burton represents parallel worlds in his films, with particular emphasis on Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish and
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" This will give your project the all-important focus.

Once you have completed your 4 ideas, please print it 10 times and bring it to our next lesson on Friday.
