please write an 800 word essay, TYPED, on the following question.
"In what ways are the Key Concepts of Representation and Genre important to the study of the Mass Media"
This is a deliberately open ended question and you can pretty much use any of the material we have covered so far on the course.
What I want to know is how much you understand about Representation and Genre.
It would be a good idea to refer to the chapter of the text book you have, as well as the Stowells Advertising Campaign, The School Prospectus, This is not a Pipe, and all the genre material we have covered in the last four lessons.
You are also very welcome to use the internet to source more information. If you are really keen, look here for a some
excellent info on genre. (click where it says pdf in blue)
