If you haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth, WATCH IT NOW!!! You can get it from the school library, it's phenomenally good and you get to see a fairy get it's head chewed off.
If you have already seen it, read this article from Media Magazine, it's got loads
of good stuff about themes and symbolism within the film.
The film, and it's director would make excellent material for either an A2 Media critical investigation or an A2 Film Small Scale Research Project.
